Peace and tranquillity, as far as the eye can see, as well as the luxurious ambience of a historic mansion. At Schlosshotel Burgschlitz, guests enjoy the country life in the most delightful way. The manor, built in 1806 on behalf of Hans Graf von Schlitz as his family residence, is regarded as an important classic of the time. The living monument is surrounded by a 180 hectare landscape park, which was created in the English style, containing hidden ponds, grottos and columns as well as countless idyllic places which inspired Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and have not lost any of their appeal to this day.
